TRAVEL MAKEUP BAG

I'm Away this week so i thought i'd share what makeup i brOught with me. i typically like to keep my makeup bag light and just filled with the "NECESSITATES". i just need myself to look alive and presentable, not full on glam.

usually when i'm on a trip, i am out and about all day long. therefore i need my makeup to last all day and not feel heavy, which is why i always bring a primer and bb cream. this time i brought the korres Greek yoghurt primer and diorskin nude bb cream, as both are very moisturizing and light on the skin. the dior has a light coverage that gives a beautiful glow to the skin and fades nicely throughout the day. as for concealer, i brought along the nyx hd concealer because it does a fantastic job on both the under eyes and problem areas. why carry two products if you don't need too? even though i have dry skin, i always use a powder because it provides a little more coverage and helps my makeup last longer. even though the l'oreal true match powder isn't my favorite, it does the job. the last base item is my body shop honey bronzer- A MUST FOR FAIR SKINNED GALS! for eyebrows, i always bring my trusty benefit gimme brow because it is so easy, quick and effective.

though on most days i will just slap on some of my maybelline lash sensational mascara and go, i do like bringing eyeshadows and eyeliner for when i feel not so lazy. if i'm putting on eyeshadow i always have to put on primer since i have oily eyelids. for that, i brought my lorac behind the scenes eye primer. i also brought my mac teddy eye kohl, which is so easy to apply as you don't have to be percise. i also brought my urban decay naked basics PALETTE, as it's so easy to use and there's not fuss or overthinking involved. while the palette is matte, i do like bringing a single shimmery eyeshadow if i'm feeling a little more glam and for that i brought my l'oreal INFALLIBLE eyeshadow in amber rush

Lastly, for lips, i like bringing hassel free lip products. by hassle free, i mean they don't require a lipliner, you can slap them on without a mirror, moisturizing, and they fade nicely throughout the day. two products that do that for me are the kiko ulta glossy stylo lipsticks (#813) and the korres lip butter (POMEGRANATE).

so there it is, my "basic" makeup travel bag! but one last thing, i do also bring beauty tools (which i'll be doing another blog post on soon, along with travel skincare!)

    1. Thanks! I rarely buy single eyeshadows, as palettes are such a good value for your money!
