REVIEW | KORRES GREEK YOGHURT NOURISHING PRIMER

behind the quest to find the perfect drugstore red lipstick was the quest to find the perfect nourishing face primer. silicone primers have never really done it for me as i feel like they are quite drying for my normal to dry skin. though Frankly, i just don't like the feeling on my skin. i perfer to feel like i don't have makeup on and i can never get around the makeup feeling when i have a silicone primer on. plus when you have skin that is on the drier side any extra bit of MOISTURE you can get you take.

just about a month ago, i finally found my holy-grail primer, the korres greek yoghurt nourishing primer ($30). i've never tried korres product before, but i have always been intrigued (ESPECIALLY by their face masks. they look just so darn nice!), and this primer has made me want to try more from the brand. right now i have a sample from sephora, but when i am finished i will definitely be buying the full size, because it is that stinking good!

it's a cream gel primer that is very light weight and asorbs quickly and easily into the skin. it creates a nice dewy base for your foundation or bb cream. when rubbed into the skin, it leaves your face feeling silky smooth and pulmp, the same feeling you get when applying a very hydrating face serum or moisturizers. So essentially, it's like putting on a second moisturizer. with that said, foundation glides very smoothly ontop. the biggest winner for me has to be the fact that it aids in my foundation not clinging to my dry patches. but… there is one negative that i can say about this product, which is the smell. thought it is not so horrible that it will keep me from using it, it does smell a bit off (though i cannot put my finger on it… maybe it's just the greek yogurt smell?!). with that said, if smells really put you off, then i would go give it a whiff at your nearest sephora.

Love, Meagan

    1. I LOVE HOW FAST IT ASORBS BUT IT STILL QUICKLY HYDRATES YOUR SKIN. WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT IN THE WINTER TIME?! :)
